Operating Machinery

If you have been injured whilst operating machinery at work it may well be that you are able to pursue a claim for compensation. Your employer has a duty to ensure that machinery is safe to be used and in most cases it will have been necessary to have carried out a risk assessment. Many accidents occur as a result of machinery not being properly guarded and in most instances where that occurs your employer will be found to have a liability. Other considerations may include ascertaining whether you were provided with correct clothing, whether you have been provided with adequate training and whether your employer has complied with all health and safety regulations.

If you have been involved in an accident of this type please speak with Bernard Clayton at our office to learn more about your rights, your potential compensation and how we can help you.
